Kristen Scarlett is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Certified in Mind-Body Medicine by the Center of Mind-Body Medicine and EMDR, level 1.
She has over 20+ years of experience providing behavioral health services in integrative and primary healthcare settings including One Medical and Galileo. She has also spent many years building a private practice and co-founded Octave, a modern therapy practice in New York and San Francisco. She works with patients on various issues including depression, anxiety, insomnia, OCD, and PTSD. She has also taught cognitive behavioral therapy at NYU Langone as part of the didactics program for psychiatry residents.
In addition, Kristen contributes to several publications and has developed workshops on various topics. She integrates wellness and evidence-based behavioral therapy skills to help patients find balance, calm, and stability.
I also now offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical.
